OUR MISSION
The mission of AYTA KHOTN on-line community center and resource network is to preserve the rich culture, history and language of the Kalmyk people to inspire pride in our heritage and create community among Kalmyks around the world. Through our stories, the stories of our ancestors and the stories and culture of the Kalmyk people, we will inspire Kalmyks all over the world to help us preserve our heritage and remind one another and the world of who we are.

Meet Our Founder
Hello! My name is Dordschi Muschajew.
I am a Kalmyk. I was born in 1950 in a refugee camp in Ingolstadt, Germany. My father was Garia Muschajew. He was a well known Kalmyk poet. I moved to the US in 1975. I retired from the company I founded here, AYTA Communications, in 2019.
My personal mission is: To use my talents and gifts to bring joy and inspiration to people. Through my music, my story, the story of my father and the story and culture of the Kalmyk people, I will inspire people around the world to know that they can reach any goal they want to attain and live a life of joy regardless of circumstance.
I am a Buddhist and an eager student of a number of contemporary spiritual teachers and coaches. I am also a blues singer and musician and I am very excited about getting back into music in my retirement. I have played soccer all my life. I love playing, coaching, and watching soccer. My family is extremely important to me. I have 5 wonderful children, 3 beautiful grandchildren. I look forward to meeting you, whomever you are. Please feel free to email me at aytakhotn@gmail.com.
